About my practice:
Tamara is a licensed psychoeducator and a member in good standing with the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec (OPPQ). She is currently qualifying for her psychotherapy permit with the OPQ as a psychotherapy intern practicing under supervision. She holds graduate diplomas in Mental Health and Youth Work, as well as a graduate certificate in Psychoeducation.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in systemic and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) perspectives. She works collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences, identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change.
Tamara’s clinical background includes frontline experience in community settings, including CLSCs and schools, as well as hospital settings. She supports individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional or relational difficulties, social or adjustment-related challenges, and those navigating life transitions or difficult moments.
Her style is warm, compassionate, and respectful. Tamara strives to create a trusting therapeutic space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take steps toward growth and well-being.
