About my practice: In my practice, for individual therapy I utilize a cognitive-behavioural approach as well as a narrative approach.  I use cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) in order to better understand an individual’s thoughts, emotions and behaviours in their daily life. As for narrative therapy, I use it as a way to create a story in order to better understand the problem and as a way to gain another perspective. For couples therapy, I utilize the Gottman Method. I use the Gottman Method in order to improve communication between partners and to better understand what impacts and influences the relationship. I view therapy as a collaborative process which ensures a safe and non-judgmental space.
