About my services: Given my background in arts, geography, nature mentorship, and agriculture, my approach to counselling is heavily influenced by all that is relational and systemic.
I strive for therapy to be a collaborative endeavour: one that is imbued with curiosity, with feelings of safety, and of trust between all those present in the room. I want to meet those who seek my accompaniment where they are at and to provide a space in which they are free to explore without fear of judgement. I feel that all of my clients already hold the strengths and resources required to overcome their concerns and that my role then, is simply to catalyze, to support, to guide and suggest.
The approaches upon which I lean the most involve compassion and curiosity; the re-authoring narratives; the use of mindfulness; as well as exploration of the vast network of connections that exist between thoughts, feelings, cultural intersections and expectations, and somatic/bodily experience across space and time.”
