About my practice:I aim to create a warm, affirming space where you feel seen, understood, and comfortable exploring what matters to you at your own pace. My counselling approach is client-centred and informed by attachment, emotion-focused, feminist, and intersectional perspectives. I support clients as they navigate difficult emotions, relationships, identity shifts, life transitions, grief, work and school stress, and everyday challenges. Together, we can explore your experiences, build greater self-understanding and emotional awareness, and find meaningful ways to navigate life and the challenges that arise. I have experience supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, Indigenous, immigrant, and refugee communities, as well as children, youth, young adults, and families. I also offer music therapy as a distinct service. As a Certified Music Therapist (MTA), I use music intentionally within the therapeutic relationship to support well-being, emotional expression, communication, connection, and personal growth. Depending on your goals and preferences in music therapy, sessions may include songwriting, improvisation, lyric exploration, guided listening, singing, or other music-based experiences. No previous musical experience is needed; music therapy is about using music in ways that feel meaningful and supportive to you. I offer individual counselling and music therapy services for children, youth, and young adults, with the option to choose the approach that feels like the best fit for you.
