About My Practice: I’m a clinical social worker and marriage and family therapist with 19 years of experience
working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My approach is trauma-informed,
culturally responsive, and identity-affirming. I support clients navigating challenges such as
trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment issues, life transitions, and
intergenerational family patterns. I work from a systems lens, recognizing how our experiences
are shaped by the relationships and environments we’re part of.
My style is collaborative and grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect. I draw from a
range of evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed), Narrative
Therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic insights. In couples work, I integrate Emotionally
Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method techniques, and in family therapy I use systemic,
structural, Bowenian, and narrative approaches—often alongside psychoeducation and
communication skills. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where we can work with
intention to deepen insights and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
