About my practice: I believe in using a collaborative approach to help clients take on challenges and tap into strengths. I tailor the intervention to the client, drawing mainly upon cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic and emotion-focused theories and techniques. I consider cognitive flexibility and self-compassion to be key ingredients for mental and emotional wellbeing, and this is reflected in my practice. I also aim to create an affirming environment where clients with diverse experiences and identities can bring their full selves into the room. My clinical interests include couple relationships, child development, perinatal and postpartum difficulties, parenting, and mood and attention difficulties. I work with individuals, couples, and children and their caregivers.
