About my Practice: My approach to therapy is humanistic. This means that in my work with you, we will focus on the present and future, as well as the client-therapist relationship, emphasising self actualisation and growth. That doesn’t mean that we ignore the past, but when we do examine the past, it is to see how it impacts the present day.
I believe that therapy needs to be adapted to each individual, so the interventions we use are decided upon collaboratively and based on your unique needs. However, I am particularly interested in SFBT, IFS, and some CBT. My role is to act as a guide, to ask the right questions, and to challenge you when needed. So that’s what we do, as a partnership.
Some of the people I work with deal with anxiety, depression, interpersonal problems, parenting, and trauma; I work with neurodivergent populations and people who identify as LGBTQIA2S+, and I adapt to my clients’ needs.
