About my practice: I arrived at counselling from an eclectic professional and academic background in music, art history, community activism and religious studies, to explore the ways in which we as humans can enrich our lives and our world, and how we make meaning from it.

For me, self-insight is an access point that empowers my clients to make choices in line with their values and needs, and to heal the ways in which they are able to show up outside of the therapy room, both for themselves and for their communities. I lean toward an integration of compassion, mindfulness, existential, and cognitive strategies, tailored to the specific challenges interfering with clients’ daily lives.

I am a graduate of McGill University’s MA Counselling Psychology program and recently obtained my counselling license (OCCOQ). I have experience working with adult individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds, ages, identities, and challenges.
