About my practice: I practice in the psychodynamic approach with a strong Jungian influence. I also incorporate ‘Focusing’, a method that works with developing presence to the bodily felt sense (what we feel in our bodies) that accompanies all emotional experiences. My approach lays great importance in deep listening not only to the issues brought in sessions, but to their underlying meaning. Careful exploration of symptoms and difficulties will reveal hidden and rich meaning underlying them which, once integrated, will help increase the quality of one’s life and gain greater balance and wholeness. Symptoms and difficulties are not seen merely as inconveniences to alleviate, but as carriers of important messages that point to a better and healthier living. In sessions you will learn to develop new ways of relating to your difficulties, which will then facilitate a process of outgrowing them. I help individual adults struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues and psychosomatic issues.
