If you want to learn to slow down and take some time to look at yourself, your relationships, and your life and build some new skills to be kinder to yourself, then this workshop may be right for you.
Mindfulness is about learning to live in the present moment, attuned to our thoughts and feelings, rather than dwelling on the past or imagining the future. Living mindfully allows us to be more fully present in our lives and in our relationships and helps to foster a sense of acceptance and inner peace.
In this 10-week self-exploration and skills-based workshop, we will cover the following topics:
- Values and living deeply
- Our relationships
- Styles of communication and attachment
- Authentic happiness
This workshop will include presentations by the facilitator, group discussions, and individual exercises in and between classes to help you explore and deepen your understanding of the topics.
By developing the inner resource of self-compassion and the skills to live more mindfully, we are better able to engage in difficulties as they arise and live a more full and satisfying life.
