Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. According to National Retail Federation, over 50% of North American adults are planning to celebrate the “V” day this year. It doesn’t matter if you celebrate alone, with your friends or with your significant other, we have a few suggestions on how to make this day special.
Dinner at Bar George
Bar George is incredibly beautiful! It’s located in the Mount Stephen Hotel and it’s definitely one of the finest restaurants in the city. The building dates back to 1880. It was a home to an exclusive gentleman’s club – Mount Stephen Club and the hotel did a great job preserving this historic building for us to appreciate.
Bar George serves British influenced cuisine with Montreal twist by one of Canada’s best chefs Anthony Walsh. Make a reservation via OpenTable and give it a try!

If you are an adventurous type, opt in for something fun and unusual that matches your exciting personality. Axe throwing might just be the thing for you. February 14th can put a lot of pressure on couples to make this day perfect, but sometimes the best way to go is to loosen up and have a fun silly night together.
Rage Academy has 12 throwing lanes and you can try throwing several axe types under supervision of professional instructors. Have fun!

Bota Bota SPA-aaah
SPA is one of the best activities when it’s cold and miserable outside. It’s so nice to relax after a busy day and to be able to wear your bikini in winter. Bring a bathing suit and a pair of flip flops and you’re ready to go! Depending on the day the water circuit usually costs $50-70. It includes access to saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and multiple chill areas where you can curl up and take a nap.
Bota Bota is our number one SPA choice. It’s located on the boat right in the heart of the Old Port and the skyline view from there is breathtaking. Their restaurant serves delicious healthy food and wine, which is perfect for the Valentine’s Day.

The Montreal Observation Wheel
Take your partner on a 60 meters high romantic date in the Old Port. The Montreal Observation Wheel ride is around 20 minutes which will give you more than enough time to enjoy the stunning views of Montreal. The lights and the views in the evening are just magical!
